Evening at the Clay Yard: 29 & 30 May, 2026
I have enjoyed helping out at The Clay Yard, Totnes this year and their amazing potting team have invited me to entertain folks at an event this May! I'll be showing what I do on the wheel accompanied by many stories and anecdotes, as well as providing advice, techniques and tips gathered from my career in ceramics ... (rescheduled from original date of 10 April.)
Widecombe Fair 2026
Pleased to be joining this legendary event at Widecombe-in-the-Moor this Sept. It's run entirely by volunteers to raise money for local good causes (and an opportunity for farmers to compare the size of their tractors) with local artisans and tradespeople displaying their wares plus loads of other fun activities. I'll be there with my pots and potting wheel, chatting, throwing and selling - come along ... you'll find Widecombe amongst green fields and high moorland hills, in a sheltered valley on the East side of Dartmoor.
Ashburton Food Festival 12 Sept. '26
I'll be taking part in this wonderful foodie fest which has happened every year in the Devon town of Ashburton for the last 15 years. This anniversary year promises bigger, better and even tastier - so I'm going to next to the Riverford farm stand - with a display of my hand fired tableware and complementary range of kitchen serving ceramics - perfect to hold all that delicious local, organic food!
London Film Fair

This Autumn, I am returning to the world of film - and joining this event for film buffs, collectors, archivists researchers and students of everything movie making. Appealing to lovers of sci-fi, my stand will present life size hand-made ceramic prop replicas of the real objects I hand made for the set of Ridley Scott's Alien movie Prometheus. Also prints of 'Ridleygrams ' hand sketches by Scott drawn at the studios as we discussed designs for the Ampules and Engineer's Sacrifice cups. Come and talk to me about the film making experience and buy your own collectable Alien hero! Held at the Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way Bloomsbury, this is a must attend event for those with an obsession for vintage and modern film memorabilia.
